Two Hollywood icons. Both die on the same day. So sad.
Farrah Fawcett. While I am too young to have seen her in her Charlie's Angels days, her fame was so far-reaching. I admire her brave, courageous, public battle with cancer that eventually took her life. A few weeks ago, I watched her documentary, Farrah's Story. It was so sad, a little traumatizing, but so very real.
And Michael Jackson. How sudden and tragic. His singing and dancing is so unprecedented, one-of-a-kind. His talents were so far-reaching that someone on Larry King Live tonight said "The King of Pop will never die. His legacy will live on." I completely agree.
And literally as I was writing this, they just flashed a picture on the screen of the paramedics attempting to revive Michael Jackson. Give me a break, paparazzi. Don't showcase that. Let folks grieve in peace. They don't need that image everywhere - or anywhere, for that matter.
Depressing, eh?
