I've taken the plunge...

...into the blogging world. That's right, folks. After much hounding (yes, Kelly, that means you), I've decided to let the world into my life. Which isn't nearly as exciting as it sounds, I'm afraid. But alas...

This weekend has been jam-packed, and it's involved a little bit of everything. The highlights were:

• A super fun, super delicious dinner party with friends last night. It was certainly an Italian (or I-Talley-an, if you prefer) feast, complete with lasagna, gnocchi, tiramasu, lots of varieties of wine, and most importantly, good friends and good times!
• A surprise lunch date with Kelly. She was driving through Charlotte on her way back home and stopped by for lunch. I'm so glad that I was able to see her, even if just for a little bit. And I FINALLY gave her her wedding present. 2.5 months late isn't too bad - is it?

Does putting that in bullet point format make me dorky? Yes, I do believe so. Guess work and professional life is wearing off on me. But hey - at least it makes it easier to read!

And now it's Sunday night. The weekends always pass by too fast, but at least I love my job, so Mondays could be much worse. So I'll enjoy a glass of wine and start gearing up for the week ahead.
